Privacy policy

Last updated: July 2026

The short version

Lifetab does not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any of your data. Everything stays in your browser. There is no server, no database, no analytics, no telemetry.

What data is on your device

All state for the app is stored locally in your browser using the localStorage API. This includes:

This data lives only in your browser, on your device. It's not synchronized, not backed up, not transmitted. Clearing your browser's storage for this site will erase the data.

What data is sent over the network

When you load the app, your browser fetches the static files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, icons) from lifetab.app over HTTPS. This is the same as loading any other website. We do not run any application code on a server.

The service worker (a piece of code that lets the app work offline) caches these files in your browser so the app can load without a network connection.

That's it. There are no other network requests. No analytics beacons. No error reporting. No third-party scripts. No fonts loaded from Google. No CDN. No API calls.

Cookies

We don't set any cookies. Your browser may set its own cookies for the service worker, which is standard browser behavior outside our control.

Third parties

There are no third parties involved. No advertising networks. No analytics providers. No error reporting services. No fonts from Google Fonts. The only network requests are between your browser and lifetab.app.

Children's privacy

Lifetab doesn't knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Since we don't collect any data at all, the question is largely academic, but we say this for the record.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change anything in this policy (we don't expect to), we'll update the date at the top of this page. Major changes will also be noted in the changelog.

Contact

If you have questions about this privacy policy, email us here. We're not running a public-facing support channel because we don't need to — there's no server, no user data, nothing to support.
